At ECSS we remain committed to providing services to all our clients in these trying times. As restrictions begin to ease, ECSS has decided to formally open our office to the public starting June 8, 2020. We are offering in person counselling to those who would like to attend; however, given that social distancing and other health measures are still in effect, our procedures with respect to how we deliver services has changed. Our staff will be implementing increased sanitation procedures, including cleaning counselling spaces in between clients.
We are asking all clients to adhere to the following guidelines when attending the office:
1) Please do not enter the office building until your exact appointment time.
2) We are asking all clients to complete the AHS Self-Assessment within 24 hours of your appointment. If this is not possible, please let us know and we will contact you via phone.
3) When you arrive you will be greeted and asked to complete a COVID checklist.
4) Your appointment will end after 50 minutes to give time for staff to clean the room prior to another client being seen.
5) If you are feeling unwell DO NOT attend your appointment. Contact the office and we can reschedule or move the appointment to telepsychology.
We also want to inform all clients that attend in person, that in the event a staff or client (who has attended the office) tests positive for COVID-19 we may be required to provide Alberta Health Services with names and contact information for those we have seen in person.
